Due to the automatic rotation direction change, the grinding machine grinds in two directions towards the centre of the blade. This results in no or minimal burr and creates optimal blade sharpness.
At BLESOMA GmbH, safety is paramount, which is why the machine automatically deactivates and stops the processing operation when an object approaches within one metre, thanks to an integrated light barrier.
The sophisticated control system is easy to operate. Once the grinding process is complete, the machine returns to its home position.
The changing of the blades is very quick due to the magnetic fastening, as they do not need to be secured with screws. The blade holders and rests can be moved continuously.
The machine features optical blade detection, allowing the blade to be automatically recognised and ground regardless of its position. The machine identifies the end of a blade row and automatically switches to the opposite knife side using the built-in directional reversal.
The angle can be continuously adjusted and is individually customisable. Likewise, the rotational speed can be adjusted according to requirements. Precise adjustment of the grinding cycles and the support pressure reduces the material abrasion of the knives. This weight can be adjusted accordingly. The grinding stroke can also be adjusted continuously. For perfect blade adjustment, it can be switched to manual operation.
