Comb rakes from BB-Umwelttechnik: Gentle, clean, efficient
Thanks to the cam rake principle of our Clementer, the forage is lifted off the ground and conveyed forwards and to the side. Due to this comparatively gentle lifting of the cut material, no stones are picked up and contamination can fall out of the forage. In contrast to conventional technology, no material is dragged across the ground. The result is an airy windrow without forage compaction. The short design with the depth control mechanism positioned very close to the forage pick-up creates precise ground contouring and ensures clean work even on uneven terrain. Many well-thought-out details make our cam rakes easy-puling, smooth-running and simple to operate.
The feed is deposited to the right or left, depending on the model. Our rakes are available with working widths from 2.50 to 7.50 metres.

Perfect ground adaptation

Steplessly adjustable tracking wheels
Each feeler wheel is height-adjustable via a hand crank. The hand crank is secured against self-rotation by a simple mechanism.
Quiet driving behaviour
Wheels measuring 18 x 8.50 x 8 ensure a smooth and gentle ride, even on uneven or damp ground.
Diaper cover
To prevent fodder from wrapping around them, a wrap guard is fitted at every moving point. All rotating parts on our Clementers are equipped with high-quality SKF ball bearings.
Own oil supply
Generally, all comb rakes are equipped with their own oil supply. A large-volume hydraulic oil tank, oil sight glass, return flow filter and generously dimensioned lines ensure reliable operation of the mower. A thermometer in the oil sight glass provides information about the oil temperature.
On request, the drive of the Clementer can also be provided directly via the tractor hydraulics.
Simple operation
A front-mounted rake can be easily lifted and brought into the transport position via the tractor's front linkage. When using the 2-piece or 3-piece Clementer Standard, the outer swath drums are optionally raised automatically by sensor control only to the extent that driving over the swaths without touching them is possible.
Maximum flexibility
With rakes having two or three swath drums, the outer drums can be attached and detached tool-lessly via a quick-coupling system. This allows the working width to be flexibly adjusted.

Frequently asked questions
It always depends on the conditions of the area. In general, higher driving speeds are possible compared to a rotary rake. Under very good conditions, this can be up to 16 km/h.
In principle, the cam rake has no problem with rope formation. A tendency towards rope formation, if anything, only occurs with very long and damp material. This tendency can be countered quite effectively by using a higher rotor speed and driving speed.
More space is required at the front, as it takes longer for the comb rake to empty completely. In most cases, this is not a disadvantage, as there are no large amounts of feed at the beginning of the windrow. This is gentle on the forage wagon and the chopper.
The weights are indicated in our brochures, e.g. a Clementer 550F weighs approximately 1,100kg when fully equipped. Warning! Decentralised weight distribution on the machine!

Yes, the swath drums stop automatically via a pressure relief valve if the load is too high. This ensures reliable protection of the machine.
If the two swath drums were to form a V at the front, they would have to be folded towards the middle and forwards for road transport. On the one hand, this would restrict visibility so significantly that it would be impossible to take part in road traffic. On the other hand, the machine would project extremely far forwards.
Yes, that is possible. However, the rotational speed should be increased when calculating upwards. With the Clementer 550 F, it should be noted that drift on a slope can be relatively significant.
